I am passionate about storytelling and working with ŷ��AƬ’s national leaders and members to foster connections and amplify voices that influence the future of healthcare. Dedicated to ŷ��AƬ’s mission, I continuously seek innovative ways to enhance engagement through strategic marketing initiatives.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, practicing yoga, advocacy work, and expanding my knowledge in digital marketing trends. I am always open to fresh ideas and discussions to further ŷ��AƬ’s goals.

Magda Wojtara is an incoming medical student at the University of California-Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine and national co-chair of the Pharm-Free Campaign. She is passionate about advocating for addressing systemic health inequities exacerbated by the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. With a background in international health policy through the US Department of State Office of Global Women’s Issues, she aims to advance global health equity initiatives and the valuable work undertaken by ŷ��AƬ.

Alissa Kainrath

Alissa Kainrath is a third-year medical student at Rosalind Franklin University, passionate about improving medical education and health policy. As national co-chair of the Pharm-Free Campaign and a member of ŷ��AƬ since 2017, she advocates for unbiased education and reproductive justice. Outside of medicine, Alissa enjoys hiking, working out, exploring new restaurants, and volunteering with the New Life Volunteering Society in Chicago.

Nate Porter

Nate was born in the East Bay, California and spent his early life with his mom and sister. He was fascinated by a high school anatomy class and went on to study Human Physiology at Gonzaga University. During his undergraduate studies, he tutored students, was a TA for anatomy lab, and a board member for the human physiology club. He also completed research in sports biomechanics. After graduating, Nate spent time exploring different careers in the medical field and was inspired to pursue medicine by a family med physician in his hometown. Before starting medical school, he spent 2 years as a foster youth advocate and mentor working with youth from the same county which he was once a dependent of. Nate is currently in the MD program at Stanford University where he has worked on research in public health, psychiatry, and transplant surgery, as well as served as the recruitment chair with the goal of recruiting a more diverse class of students. He hopes to one day be a physician leader in his community, and help bridge the racial and socioeconomic inequities that exist in our current healthcare system. He is joining the team as the Racial Equity Civic Science Fellow with ŷ��AƬ and Doris Duke Foundation.
