We’ve taken our action-packed, 3-day annual convention and have transformed it to be fully virtual—so all can attend from the safety of their homes, from all corners of the globe. 30+ sessions, SIM challenges (yes! those!), virtual health fair, break-out sessions and Advocacy Day—with special focus on COVID-19.

2020 suncity Advocacy Day
During suncity’s 2020 National Convention, students raised their voices with Congressional offices to advocate for their patients facing impacts of the coronavirus crisis. The crisis has highlight glaring health disparities and the failings of our broken, profit-driven health care system. suncity strongly condemns the use of the term “Chinese coronavirus” and other racially-charged epithets in the government’s response to this crisis. suncity calls on other elected officials and leaders to join us in condemning this racist and xenophobic rhetoric surrounding COVID-19.
